The Social Club was designed to create a gathering place where culinary excellence meets Miami's vibrant social atmosphere. The space showcases open-air terraces, skylights, and intimate décor that encourages guests to relax and stay awhile.

Executive Chef Gastón Sanchez blends traditional techniques with innovative presentations using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Our culinary approach emphasizes shareable plates that foster conversation and connection.

A descendant of Cuban and Spanish bloodlines, Gastón discovered his passion for food at an early age, spending countless hours honing his skills in the kitchen with his grandmothers. After obtaining a dual degree in Culinary Arts and Business Administration, Gastón explored and refined his skills abroad, where he apprenticed with Michelin-Star chefs. He has also been a private chef for various celebrities, owned and operated his own restaurants and catering companies, was showcased on The Food Network’s Celebrity Dish cooking show, and recieved two Hyatt Excellence Awards. 

With two decades of hospitality experience, including roles at The Mayflower Hotel, Waldorf Astoria, and The Ritz-Carlton, Rios is a seasoned leader known for his passion for creating exceptional dining experiences. A Philadelphia native with Puerto Rican roots, he brings energetic leadership and a commitment to excellence to Miami Beach. Under his guidance, The Social Club and High Tide Beach Bar & Grill promise to deliver vibrant, elevated culinary and beverage offerings in the heart of South Beach.
